Area Team Leader

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our High Risk department as an Area Team Leader.

The key elements of the role are:

Liaise with the Department Manager to identify the correct levels of resources and manage the operation within these agreed parameters
Where required, having identified the causes and consequences, change and adjust the production plan in co-operation with the Department Manager, Planning Department to ensure that the most efficient daily production is achieved.
To communicate effectively with all colleagues and management.
Ensure product traceability is maintained at all times
Ensure the product size reduced and packed to the correct specification (orientation, product size, correct packaging used, etc.)
Assist in the delivery of Training of both new and established team members as per production, food safety and technical protocols.
Supervise operatives on a day-to-day basis ensuring that performance, product quality, good housekeeping, discipline and safety standards are maintained.
To make sure all are set up machines to correct speeds (NSA, Kronan, Maguirit etc.)
To ensure correct recording of KPI, technical documentation
To allocate operatives on work stations

Shift is: from 5pm to 5am, 4 days on 4 days off
