“My journey into butchery started back when I was still in school. Cranswick came in to do a demonstration, and Paul shared his journey and explained what goes into making the products we see every day. That was the moment I realised how much skill and detail goes into butchery, and it gave me a real interest to find out more.
I’ve said before that Paul is the best person I’ve ever met at Cranswick. He’s definitely helped me throughout my apprenticeship, and I don’t think I’d be the same person I am today without him as my coach and mentor.
The support I’ve had has helped me grow in confidence, learn the craft properly, and understand the responsibility that comes with the job. It’s pushed me to want to improve every day and build a future in butchery.”
