“I’ve recently passed my Level 3 apprenticeship with distinction, and I’m now starting my training to become a supervisor. Over my time here I’ve learned so many skills, both in and out of the job — from understanding the craft of butchery to building confidence, communication and leadership.

The mentorship has been really good and has allowed me to excel. I wouldn’t have been able to achieve what I have without the knowledge and guidance I’ve had from Paul, my tutors and my teachers. Paul works incredibly hard and is always focused on helping the next generation of butchers come through the company, and that support has made a huge difference to me.

I’ve taken on more responsibility as I’ve progressed, and it’s helped me grow not just as an apprentice but as a person. I’ve learned what good teamwork looks like, how to stay focused under pressure, and how important it is to take pride in your work. Moving into supervisor training is a big step, and I’m excited for what comes next.”
