What does EMS do?⁣
"EMS is a community-focused company based in east Hull and covering Hull, East Yorkshire, North and North East Lincolnshire, working with residents, community groups and local businesses to alleviate food and fuel poverty."⁣
⁣
What are you passionate about changing?⁣
"Poverty comes in all shapes and sizes and it’s not just exclusive to people claiming benefits, we have a high number of residents who are working in Hull who are still living in poverty. Working with communities can make a difference in their lives even if this is offering affordable food and cooking skills so they can really make the most out of the food they have and put money back into their pockets."
⁣
How does Cranswick help?⁣
"Cranswick has been a fantastic support by providing meat for our ready meals project from a number of different site locations. We currently make on average 160 fresh and nutritious meals a week and deliver them out to five community fridges around Hull. Each meal will serve up to a family of four.⁣"
