We are thrilled to announce that 11 talented colleagues from across the Cranswick business have successfully completed the Cranswick Operations Talent Programme.
This 18-month development journey is designed to recognise and nurture talent within our operations teams, preparing them to take on further management roles and drive the future success of our factories.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged in a variety of workshops, mentoring, hands-on projects, and leadership development training, all aimed at enhancing their skills, knowledge, and understanding of operational excellence here at Cranswick.
Their commitment and hard work have truly paid off, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.
A highlight of the programme was their final business improvement projects presented by each delegate to Chris Aldersley and Miranda Spencer. These projects not only demonstrated their creativity and problem-solving abilities, but also brought forward new and innovative ideas to help Cranswick grow and improve.
Group HR Director, Miranda Spencer, commented: “Our first Operations Talent Programme cohort have recently completed the programme and we were fortunate enough to meet all of the attendees at C4DI this month. The presentations that were delivered by these individuals were of an extremely high standard and we learned about not only the operational and functional improvements that had been made as part of the Project inclusion in the course, but also heard the personal stories of development and self-belief that had been achieved by these individuals.
We have much undiscovered talent within the business and it is programmes such as the OTP that allows colleagues to shine, develop and grow within their particular area, and retain those who might otherwise have left the business as they did not see a path open to them. We have clearly seen the benefits of the OTP and I would actively encourage anyone who wishes to be considered, to contact either their Line Manager or a member of the HR team to discuss the possibility.”
Please join us in congratulating our 11 colleagues on this incredible achievement. We’re excited to see the continued impact they’ll have as they take next steps in their careers.
Once again, a big well done to all.
