Cranswick Gourmet Pastry recently supported the opening of and are sponsoring a new community fridge “Norton Free Fridge”. In just one day, almost 70kg of food was saved and fed in excess of 80 people.
The fridge is accessible to anyone and aims to avoid food waste, which we are thoroughly supportive of. Andy Mayer, Site Director at Cranswick Gourmet Pastry, said, “What a pleasure to be able to help this amazing initiative. It was inspiring to meet the Free Fridge team and to be part of it. I truly believe that together we can make a big difference in the community where we all live and work.”
