Cranswick Country Foods, Preston run a bespoke Butchery Apprenticeship programme of which there is only one if its kind in England. Paul Jenkinson joined our programme at its initiation in January 2013, and since then has progressed through his Apprenticeship with determination and commitment. Paul is proof that the opportunities delivered to young people via a scheme such as the Butchery Apprenticeship programme can add real value to their lives and deliver a progressive career path. By developing his skills set and persevering with the complexities of being a skilled Butcher, Paul has shown Cranswick that he is a rising star within the business and has the capability to become a key member of our Management team.
Paul has exceeded the expectations set by both the company and the apprenticeship programme over a short period of time showing a true passion for his job and he is an inspiration to other young people joining the scheme. We are proud to have Paul on the programme with us and truly believe that he deserves to be the Apprentice of the Year.
Paul won the Viking FM Apprentice of the Year Award.
