Last week Cranswick had the pleasure of hosting our annual conference for 2024. Hundreds of our colleagues joined us over three days to hear our teams present the latest developments in our business strategy, enjoying lots of networking and our notorious lunches prepared by Cranswick chefs.
Colleagues had the opportunity to talk to our Board of Executive Directors who opened the floor for live questions. The day included presentations from our Farming division, with an update on Cranswick’s regenerative farming initiatives, the outlook on innovation on the horizon and future plans for the business. We also heard from the Cranswick Pet Products division on their exciting and ever-growing business.
Furthermore, it was a delight to hear from one of the Food Heroes, Chris Battle, as he discussed his heartwarming but humorous story, celebrating 20 years of Cranswick Gourmet Bacon.
As part of the three days, we hosted Cranswick’s inaugural Procurement Summit, where we welcomed suppliers from all areas of the business for a lunch prepared by our Cranswick chefs, followed by talks on pertinent topics from across the business. Sharing updates on our business strategy, sustainability initiative and the latest news from our Packaging, Technical and Supply Chain teams. Innovation was also thoroughly discussed as a key theme.
A great time was had by all, thank you to all that attended the events.
