Weekend Pig Farm Worker

Wayland Farms Ltd are a pig production company who are passionate about breeding and nurturing the best pigs in the country. We form part of the successful Cranswick Plc., one of the largest food producers in Britain.
Job responsibilities of Pig Stockperson:
· You will be actively involved with all areas of the pig cycle
· You will be based on one of our units
· On a day-to-day basis this includes feeding, moving, and handling the pigs
· You will also maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit
Hours: 7.30am to 12.30pm, every other Saturday and Sunday
What you will need:
- You must always prioritise and adhere to animal welfare
- To be self-motivated, flexible and a great team player
- You must be reliable and demonstrate good time keeping
- Previous agricultural experience is desirable
Pay and benefits:
- £28571.40 - £30,000 (pro rata) per annum depending on experience
- Additional bonus potential of up to £1500 per annum (quarterly payments)
