Job requirements of Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager:
We are looking for an experienced Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager to oversee the operation of the effluent treatment plant, optimize plant performance and maintain compliance.
Duties
- Safely carry out all tasks set by the engineering management
- Ensure PPM’s , maintenance, breakdowns and all work is carried out in a timely safe manner
- Make sure all relevant tests on the water system are completed accurately and on time
- Make sure all PPM’s relating to the odour abatement system are undertaken and documented
- Oversee the daily and weekly effluent sampling and tests in accordance with ENV.810
- You must make sure we remain in compliance with our environmental permit
- Oversee/undertake any testing required for R and D purposes and report back results/findings
- Monitor all tank levels, flow rates and trends and report and concerns to the engineering management
- Maintain good manufacturing practice, investigate and record hazards, risks and near misses
What you will need:
- Previous experience as a Wastewater Treatment Specialist Manager or good understanding of how an effluent plant operates
- Level 3 H&S awareness
- Sampling, testing and analysis of effluent plant
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Pay/ hours and benefits:
- Rate of pay – £Competitive
- Monday-Friday 07:00am-16:00pm
