Job requirements of a Training Coordinator:
We are looking for a Training coordinator who is required to work as a member of the Training Department reporting to the Training Manager.

Shift Pattern WK 1 Monday – Friday, WK 2 Tuesday-Saturday 10:00-19:00

Duties and Responsibilities

A Training Coordinator will work to high and demanding standards. They will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording of all site staff training records. They will be responsible along with the rest of the training team for ensuring all site staff are trained and compliant to be carrying out their individual roles. They will share their knowledge to look to improve the systems used to make the department more efficient.

  • To deliver shop floor/factory training in a time sufficient and high-quality manner.
  • To deliver class room based training sessions in the absence of the Compliance Trainer and/or when it’s required.
  • Deliver training to the required level whilst taking into consideration learners needs.
  • All relevant paperwork must be completed daily.
  • To ensure that all core/key skill annual assessments are carried out.
  • To demonstrate professionalism and company standards in all communications within the department, the site and any external organizations to which we are dealing with.
  • Is sufficiently flexible in terms of hours to work to support the function and the demands of the business.
  • Ensure that training plans are formulated and implemented for all employees and work with the Factory Trainers to ensure that all paperwork is completed, and records kept for auditing purposes.
  • To work with the Factory Trainers to generate a daily/weekly training plan to meet departmental targets and KPI’s.
  • To maintain Training Matrices and any other Training Management Systems.
  • Also, to identify gaps for training and competency assessments.
  • To provide weekly progression update to the Learning & Development Manager.
  • Create/maintain Safe System of Work and Standard Operating Procedures and other relevant training documents to support the learning of the individual.

What you will need:

  • Experience of working within a training/administration environment
  • Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions
  • Knowledge in manufacturing processes
  • Strong ability to self-learning and effective teaching
