Tech­ni­cal Ser­vices Officer

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: 8am to 4pm, some flexibility around business needs

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Services Officer to join our Technical Department.

As a Technical Services Officer, you will play a leading part within the team to ensure that all site’s technical KPIs are trended and reported out at the relevant level. You will provide key support on technical projects, identifying ideas about areas of improvement and assist with various tasks within the technical department.

You will:

  • Promote food safety culture on site, keeping customer quality systems updated, and updating senior management on any changes to quality trends or panel results.
  • Support product launches and carry out regular audits, to follow up with relevant departments if necessary.
  • To trend, analyse and report out site technical KPIs, in conjunction with Technical Services Manager.
  • Co-ordinate all our customers quality activities in a leading pro-active role, attending site meetings, ensuring all action plans are completed to high standards.
  • Investigate feedstock issues to assist site investigations.

What we need from you

Essential

We’re looking for a proactive team player, with strong attention to detail and key time management skills. Our ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of basic food safety and Technical expertise, with a willingness to learn.

Desirable

Whilst full training will be provided, Level 3 certification in HACCP and Food Safety would be advantageous.
