Our Riverside site is growing! We are on the look out for a Stores Operative to become an integral part of our team! You would be responsible for ensuring that you contribute to the efficient, effective and safe running of the area in order to fulfil the needs of the business.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • To issue labels, trays etc. to the lines as required and update the system accordingly
  • Assist with stock checks as required
  • To maintain quality and traceability documentation
  • To keep the stores in a tidy and orderly way
  • Carry out training commensurate with the area including regular refresher/update training as and when required
  • Report any equipment defects immediately to the Stores Team Leader
  • Assist during internal / external audits as required
  • Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc
  • Liaise with colleagues in other departments to ensure the throughput of all products in a timely and efficient manner
  • Contribute to KPIs in quality, health, safety and environment, yields and customer service
  • Highlight areas of improvement
  • Ensure that all statutory (industry guidelines), legal, food safety and integrity and customer requirements are met
  • Ensure adherence to all standards and processes relating to CCP monitoring, glass, complaints, label verifications and other paperwork in your department
  • Attend required training in line with current legislation, Health and Safety guidelines and changing departmental operations
  • To identify hazards in the workplace and actively take part in the behavioral safety programme
  • Understand and minimise energy and waste within the department
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as and when required and requested and understand that these duties may be in another department.
  • Conduct yourself in a responsible and courteous manner at all times
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding the work that is carried out

You will have:

  • Previous experience of FMCG manufacturing (advantageous)
  • Understanding of continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Awareness of customer standards
  • Ability to meet job requirements
