QA Technician — A Shift
Cranswick Gourmet Sausage Co. (Lazenby’s) is our fast-paced sausage facility located in Hull. We currently have opportunity for a QA Technician who is a motivated individual, with preferably food industry experience, to join our busy Technical Team on a night shift. The role involves checking all aspects of food safety, quality and legality for the products are adhered to at all times.
Shift available: 4on 4off; 12 hrs a day;
- Shift Days 06:00-18:00
Pay Rate: £14.28 per hour
The main duties of QA Technician include;
- Audit and monitor all stages of the manufacturing process
- Audit and ensure good manufacturing practice across the site
- Monitor the quality of products
- Accurately complete paperwork and record relevant information
- Ensure the hygiene and housekeeping within the area exceeds the daily audit target
- Educate production colleagues on good manufacturing practice
- Ensure all start-up checks are completed
