What does the day to day look like for this role?
The Central Logistics Support Administrator provides essential administrative support to the Central Logistics team in ensuring the effective functioning of the logistics framework. This role involves Transport Planning, Data entry, Platform Portal administration, reporting and communicating with other business departments.

Key Duties

Operational Support

Assist the Team Leader in tracking and updating departmental records and reports.

Perform data entry and maintain accurate logistics documentation.

Support routine administrative tasks, such as platform portal maintenance and correspondence

Team Support

Provide administrative assistance to the logistics support team.

Help coordinate team meetings, taking minutes and distributing key information

Standards & Compliance

Ensure documentation aligns with company standards and compliance requirements.

Assist in collating data for audits and compliance checks.

Support in recording and escalating safety incidents as directed by the Team Leader.

Supplier & Freight Coordination

Maintain and update records of supplier and freight interactions.

Assist in tracking supplier performance data and reporting deviations.

Support communication between logistics teams and external partners as needed.

Capacity Management

Help monitor warehouse capacity utilisation and flag any issues to the Team Leader.

Support shipment coordination to ensure on-time delivery.
