QA Supervisor (Mon-Fri)

We are looking to recruit QA Supervisor to join out team to provide support to the Factory Technical Manager by being directly responsible for the supervisory day to day running of the QA Department and to be accountable for both the delivery and quality of the team’s work
To support with the implementation and upkeep of all internal factory QAS's and documents and all other relevant documentation for the factory in order to ensure that standards are maintained in line with internal and external Customer and 3rd Party requirements
Shift: Monday-Friday; Office Hours
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure that the safety, quality and legality of the products are always achieved and maintained to the highest standards.
- To provide support to the Factory Technical Manager by being directly responsible for the supervisory day to day running of the QA Department.
- To provide support in the implementation and supervise the quality and process audit service to the factory in order to ensure the objectives and procedures detailed in the Quality Management System are achieved.
- To support in the development and help with continuous improvements to the Company’s Quality System and ensure it meets Customer requirements, BRCGS and 3rd party audit requirements.
- Work with the relevant departments in ensuring that all Non-Conformances arising from audits and visits are resolved to an acceptable standard within agreed timescales.
- Manage and support the investigations of any complaints or out of specification issues (quality/micro/chemical) within specified timescales, working with the wider teams to find true route cause and support with the implementation of corrective and preventive action.
- Complete any projects set by the Factory Technical Manager in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will have:
- Supervisory experience within a similar role
- Root cause analysis training
- Experience in FMCG or similar environment
- Strong influencing skills and a resilient personality
- Ability to implement and drive KPI’s
- Reviewing of relevant risk assessments and safe working procedures.
