Operational Service Person
Operational Service Person | Days | 4 on, 4 off | A&B
We are currently recruiting for an Operational Service Person, on both A & B Shift, working 4 on, 4 off, here at Yorkshire Baker. The purpose of this role is to ensure required Raw Materials are delivered to Prep, Pastry and Assembly in requested time and ensure removal of empty equipment when delivered to the meat or dairy or dry goods chiller.
Main duties include (but not limited to):
- Ensure product movements are correctly reflected in the system (scan to line, stock move, stock return) and in the paperwork
- Ensuring chillers are prepared correctly for use and raw materials are stored correctly ensuring all stock is used in proper rotation
- Inform the Area Manager/QA/Technical Department of any issues during the processes of carrying out the above before taking any further corrective actions
- Manage product movements between storage locations and to the prep areas physically and through the CMEX system while maintaining Food Safety of the product
- Product to be scanned to the line via CMEX system
- Communicate effectively with other colleagues and departments, Line Leaders, Team Leaders, Managers, H&S department, technical department
- Ensure that any potential issues are proactively reported to Line Leader/ Area Manager to avoid loss in the production

- Maintain all tools and machinery used in good working condition and report any damages to Line Leader / Team Leader / Area Manager
Candidate requirements:
- Reliable with a can-do attitude
- Communicate effectively to other team members
- Knowledge of food quality standards
- Food Factory experience
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards
- FLT license is essential
