What You’ll Be Doing
As an Intake Operative, you’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Your day-to-day will be varied, hands-on, and rewarding:
- Unloading pallet deliveries and managing intake processes with precision.
- Using computer systems to monitor silo capacity and support delivery logistics.
- Conducting quality checks and collecting product samples.
- Labelling and storing raw materials and packaging correctly.
- Acting as a trained Banksman to ensure site safety.
- Supporting intake of fresh and frozen goods with full compliance.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards across the site.
- Rotating stock and preparing packaging for production.
- Assisting with batching premixes and feeding products to the mill.
- Providing cover for the Intake Coordinator when needed.
No two days are the same – and your impact will be felt across the business.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who’s:
- Forklift licensed.
- Experienced with stock and pallets (preferred but not essential).
- A confident communicator – written, verbal, and over the phone.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A problem-solver with a proactive mindset.
- Honest, empathetic, and eager to learn.
- Flexible and adaptable to support different areas of the business.
- Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft applications.
- Committed to health & safety and continuous improvement.
Shift Pattern
4 on / 4 off rotating shifts:
- 6am–6pm for 4 days → 4 days off → 6pm–6am for 4 nights → 4 days off
