We’re looking for a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join Cranswick’s growing and heavily invested Group IT department, based at our brand-new office in Brough, HU15. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team at the heart of our digital transformation journey—where you’ll manage and maintain our core IT infrastructure, ensuring high performance, security, and availability across servers, virtualization, firewalls, and networks.

About the Role
As our Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll:
- Maintain and optimise HPE server infrastructure and Hyper-V virtualization
- Configure and support Cisco switches and Meraki wireless networks
- Manage and secure Fortinet firewalls
- Implement and monitor Rubrik backup solutions
- Deliver Level 2/3 support and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex issues
- Ensure disaster recovery and high availability solutions are tested and effective
What We’re Looking For
- Hands-on experience with HPE servers, Windows Server & Hyper-V, with the confidence to keep things running smoothly.
- Practical knowledge of Cisco networking and Meraki wireless, with the ability to make networks reliable and secure.
- A good grasp of firewalls and IT security principles, and the drive to keep our systems protected.
- Someone who enjoys solving problems and can think on their feet when challenges arise.
- A clear communicator who can work well independently but also thrives as part of a team.
- Certifications such as HP ASE, Cisco CCNA, or Microsoft Server are a bonus — but what matters most is your skills, attitude, and willingness to learn.
