About the role

We have a brilliant opportunity for a pro-active, approachable and enthusiastic HR Assistant to join our People team on a temporary basis. Working alongside our People team you will be providing invaluable administrative support for the HR function and will assist payroll where required to ensure a first-class service is delivered across the site.

Key Duties include (but not limited to):

  • With a keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy you will be able to utilise your skills and work on a variety of different tasks and projects such as
  • Day to day administrative support for employee matters from processing new starter paperwork to drafting amendment to contract letters.
  • Providing “internal” customer service support with telephone, email and face to face queries.
  • Note taking in employee meetings where required.
  • Responsible for ensuring all right to work documentation is checked, verified and signed prior to employment.
  • Data management and updating of records and systems, in particular our HR and payroll systems.
  • Recruitment administration support where required.
  • Involvement in organising engagement activities and supporting with the administration of employee benefits.
  • Ad hoc payroll administration support.

About You

  • Minimum of 1 year in an administrative role requiring regular use of systems and producing paperwork (ideally HR).
  • Proven track record of working off own initiative and working to deadlines.
  • Experience of working in a confidential HR environment and maintaining HR records and systems (beneficial).
  • Demonstrates a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills – is concise in written/ verbal communication.
  • Is able to work co-operatively with others in the team and across organisation.
  • High degree of computer literacy – PC skills required, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask, organise and prioritise work.
