This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in one of the UK’s largest manufacturing sectors—supporting sustainability from farm to fork.

About Cranswick

At Cranswick, we are committed to producing high-quality food products with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement. As a key part of our Group Sustainability team, you'll work with people who are passionate about making a difference—both environmentally and socially—through responsible business practices.

As a Group Environmental Coordinator, you’ll:

  • Work alongside the Group Environmental Manager to support environmental compliance and performance across manufacturing sites and farms.
  • Support internal audits and help maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 certifications across the group.
  • Assist with site support relating to Climate Change Agreements (CCAs), ESOS, and environmental legislation.
  • Help drive efficiency and risk mitigation through environmental best practices.
  • Support the ongoing development of our Integrated Management System (IMS) and documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with site environmental teams to foster knowledge sharing and alignment.
  • Contribute to wider sustainability initiatives in collaboration with the Group Sustainability Team.
  • Undertake a structured rotation across sites and departments to gain broad business exposure before fully transitioning into the sustainability team.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • A passion for improving environmental performance and sustainability outcomes.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001/ISO 50001, Climate Change Agreements, or ESOS (training provided if needed).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel across UK sites is essential).

What We Offer

  • A highly competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Full training and mentoring from the Group Environmental Manager.
  • Structured career development and internal progression opportunities.
  • Enrolment into the company pension scheme with enhanced contributions.
  • Access to our Share Save scheme – buy shares at a discounted rate.
  • Discount portal for major high street stores and supermarkets.
  • Cycle-to-work scheme.
  • The chance to be part of a business that values sustainability, innovation, and people.
