Finan­cial report­ing Accountant

An exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting accountant has arisen in the onsite Finance team.

This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday with working hours 8:30am to 5:00pm.

Job requirements of Financial Reporting Accountant:

  • Oversee the completion of the monthly management accounts to strict deadlines.
  • Take Ownership of all group reporting and controls compliance.
  • Record Capital expenditure and cash forecasting.
  • Oversee the credit control function (purchase and sales ledger)
  • Assist with external and internal audits (including resolution of all points raised)
  • Take ownership of environmental and risk reporting.
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Assist Finance Manager with commercial and operational reporting as required.
  • Drive improvement in the use of IT within the department for reporting and internal control.
  • Provide assistance to the finance function of the Farms division if required.

What you will need:

  • To be a Qualified accountant.
  • Have the ability to report large amounts of data accurately and to tight timescales.
  • Be personable and approachable, fostering strong relationships across the team.
