The goal of our food manufacturing site, Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, is to produce quality cooked food for market leading customers. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Factory Manager to join a thriving business as it enters a new exciting period. We are looking for a determined, ambitious, and committed individual to join our team to manage the factory, overseeing manufacturing processes, develop a multi-skilled workforce, responsible for Health and Safety and be customer interface for production related matters.
Overall, Job Purpose:
- The management of the manufacturing process to ensure that all output complies with customer/brand specification, food hygiene regulations and GMP
- The management and development of a multi-skilled, multi-disciplined team operating on shifts in a unionised environment
- The organisation of the activities within the factory and its environment to prevent the risk of injury to employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
- The effective management of resources to deliver agreed yield, cost, productivity, and customer service targets
To be the customer interface for all production related matters
Responsibilities.
Manufacturing Operation:
- Responsible for the delivery of the best quality product and satisfying customer service requirements, creating and promoting a proactive working environment.
