Job requirements of Effluent Manager:
We are looking for an experienced Effluent Manager to oversee the operation of the effluent treatment plant, optimize plant performance and maintain compliance.

Duties

  • Safely carry out all tasks set by the engineering management
  • Ensure PPM’s , maintenance, breakdowns and all work is carried out in a timely safe manner
  • Make sure all relevant tests on the water system are completed accurately and on time
  • Make sure all PPM’s relating to the odour abatement system are undertaken and documented
  • Oversee the daily and weekly effluent sampling and tests in accordance with ENV.810
  • You must make sure we remain in compliance with our environmental permit
  • Oversee/undertake any testing required for R and D purposes and report back results/findings
  • Monitor all tank levels, flow rates and trends and report and concerns to the engineering management
  • Maintain good manufacturing practice, investigate and record hazards, risks and near misses

What you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Effluent Manager or good understanding of how an effluent plant operates
  • Level 3 H&S awareness
  • Sampling, testing and analysis of effluent plant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
