Compliance Auditor

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to join busy Production team in Packing department as a Compliance Auditor.
The key elements of the role are:
- Ensure product traceability is always maintained.
- Fully understand and effectively use the labelling machines, the metal detector, and the vision system.
- To ensure correct batch codes, use by dates and appropriate stock routines are followed and are appropriately recorded on the audit sheets in addition to scale calibration and recording.
- Ensure MAP checks are conducted and recorded.
- Ensure all CCP checks are conducted as per the training document, including appropriate metal detection checks.
- To ensure first line packing seals are not compromised.
- To visually appraise the product and if non-conformances are noted, report these to senior Management / Technical immediately.
- To ensure each product specification is followed and matched in all aspects of product, packaging and palletisation for dispatch.
- Assure the production plan and deadlines are met by supervising the packing processes and effectively delegating responsibilities.
- Be accountable for auditing all dispatch paperwork prior to submission, ensuring full compliance with internal and external standards.
- Find ways to save time and efficiency by utilising staff resources to their full potential as well as plant and machinery resource.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas and reduce waste costs where practicable and appropriate
- To guide and train new starters.
- Ensure the product packed to the correct specification (weight, pack size, etc.)
Shift is 4on-4off, from 5am to 5pm
