Commercial Executive

​The person in this role will be an integral part of the team providing administrative support to the commercial Managers/ Controller.  To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an eye for detail.

 

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Provide support to the Commercial Managers / Commercial Controller
  • Responsibility for preparing standard product costings.  Ensuring that product costings are updated to reflect process changes and appropriate material prices
  • Working with commercial and operational colleagues to develop new product costings.  Reporting on variances, contribution and product evaluation
  • Effectively communication with key disciplines across the site (marketing, NPD, technical, purchasing, finance, planning and operations) internally managing the customer’s requirements
  • Work closely with finance to create and take ownership of internal sales reports. Creating weekly / Monthly sales analysis
  • Track customer KPIs
  • Maintain administration of customer accruals and overrides
  • Maintain customer systems and internal price files
  • Management of promotional plan activity administration internally 
  • Assisting with forecasting document and with budgeting
  • Provide support for meetings
  • Store Audits - collecting samples and market information

 

Candidate requirements:

  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Be detailed and accurate
  • Project management skills
  • Numerate and analytical
  • Self-motivated
  • Tenacious
  • Capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude and where we can’t I’ll find a way to do it differently!
