As a Boxing Technician, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the performance, availability, and safety of our boxing equipment and machinery. Working closely with Engineering and Production, you’ll carry out first-line maintenance tasks and help the team hit production targets while supporting high food safety standards.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Responding swiftly to breakdowns in the Boxing department, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements
- Carrying out mechanical maintenance tasks (electrical work to be trained and signed off)
- Logging work using our CMMS system (Pirana) and ensuring hygiene hand-back is completed
- Supporting line setups, start-ups and changeovers, ensuring machinery is running at optimal settings
- Training production colleagues in correct machine operation and supporting upskilling
- Collaborating with the NPD and EPD teams during product trials to ensure settings are ready for launch
- Maintaining high standards in engineering workshops, tools, and hygiene zones
- Participating in toolbox talks and knowledge sharing across the wider engineering team
- Proactively managing your workload and supporting the delivery of daily production plan

We’re looking for someone who is curious, hands-on, and enthusiastic about technical problem-solving.
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent experience) in an engineering/technician role
- IT literacy and the ability to work to KPIs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced chilled environment (4–8°C)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Desirable:
