About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated Boxing Machine Minder to join our dynamic team at Cranswick Convenience Foods – Milton Keynes. As a machine minder, you will play a key role in ensuring our product boxing processes run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role within a high-performance food production environment where quality, safety, and teamwork are essential.

As part of our fast-paced Boxing operation, you'll ensure products are correctly packed, sealed, labelled, and ready to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily operational plans for your area of responsibility.

  • Perform advanced-level activities aligned with the departmental framework.

  • Escalate production issues to the Team Leader as necessary.

  • Comply with all company health, safety, hygiene, and food safety procedures.

  • Learn and follow company procedures and best practices at all times.

  • Consistently strive to exceed performance targets and improve standards.

  • Maintain high standards of GMP and achieve top results in technical audits.

  • Show flexibility and support other departments when required.

  • Represent Cranswick’s high standards with professionalism and positivity.

  • Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by your manager.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience working in a food production environment.

  • Good basic literacy and numeracy skills; able to communicate in English.

  • Food safety or health & safety qualifications are desirable but not essential (full training provided).

  • Reliability, good timekeeping, and a strong work ethic.

  • Team player who is willing to learn and demonstrate a proactive approach.

  • Flexible attitude and willingness to work across a variety of tasks.

  • Ability to model site behaviours and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
