Due to ongoing growth, Cranswick - a FTSE 250 meat manufacturing company - are hiring 20 Advanced Production Operatives to join our team!
From day 1 you will be enrolled onto our 12-week internal training program as a Production Operative. Once you have successfully completed this training programme, it will result in an internal promotion to the role of Advanced Production Operative, including a salary increase to reflect and reward your achievement.
Your starting salary would be £13.50 per hour for day shift (06:00 – 18:00) or £15 per hour for night shift (18:00 – 06:00), and then your salary would increase to be £15.65 per hour for day shift (06:00 – 18:00) or £16.80 per hour for night shift (18:00 – 06:00) following successful completion of the above training.
We are looking for experienced Production Operatives, Machine Minders, and Quality Control Specialists, and whilst previous food manufacturing experience would be beneficial, it is not essential – just a great attitude, a passion for food, and a willingness to learn.

Role responsibilities:
- Ensure our production machinery is set up correctly
- Ensure all quality paperwork is completed accurately
- Meet daily production targets
- Support quality standards and team performance
- Provide training to Operatives and Agency staff
- Deputise for the Team Leader in their absence
- Operate machinery safely, whilst following health, safety, and hygiene procedures
About you:
- High attention to detail (including the ability to spot anomalies)
- Able to read and write in English to a good standard
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Comfortable working in a refrigerated, fast-paced factory environment
- Good team player with a can-do attitude
- Willing to learn and take on new skills
