We are proud to announce that Cranswick was awarded Manufacturer of the Year at the Business Green Leader Awards in London.

Our commitment to becoming the world’s most sustainable meat company through our Second Nature sustainability strategy won the judges over. The Business Green judges said: "In a hotly contested field, the judges were won over by Cranswick's sweeping Second Nature sustainability strategy and its work to tackle food waste, deploy renewables, slash plastic waste, and embrace green agricultural practices across the business and its supply chain."

Our group sustainability strategy Second Nature seeks to address key issues across the life cycle of our products by integrating sustainability as second nature to what we do, how we work and why we do it.  To deliver such an ambitious vision, we needed an ambitious strategy. One that would not only add value to our business operations, but that would meet and surpass the expectations of customers, colleagues and investors.

Second Nature marks the start of our journey to ensure sustainability is embedded in our culture from Farm to Fork. We have signed up to a number of sustainability commitments including Courtald 2025, Champions 12.3 and Cranswick 2025 Plastic Pledge.
