"Cranswick is a company with global reach, but its heritage is one I share having grown up in Yorkshire, near to the heart of the business.
The Graduate Programme is unique in that it offers you the opportunity to learn all elements of the business from farm to fork. My first year began with a 6-week induction, which involved working on the farms, a butchery course, and tour of all the sites. Following this, I was welcomed to Cranswick Gourmet Pastry for a year of rotations. Here I was encouraged to learn the different aspects of the business. I presented to senior management; attended group meetings at sites; and presented to customers. I also worked with new product development; supported the marketing and sales team with insights into the Christmas savoury pastry market and food to go category; and was given responsibility for the sites production planning for two weeks. Now in my second year, I’ve joined the Cranswick Fresh Division Category Marketing team.
The Cranswick Graduate Programme offers various courses including; management training residentials and workshops, highlighting the progressive nature of Cranswick and its willingness to invest in its people. In return for your hard work, Cranswick will support your development and invest in your career."
