Senior Team Leader

Cranswick Country Foods Poultry is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers.

Main purpose of the role is to assure the production plan and deadlines are met by supervising the production processes and effectively organising responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with the Department Manager to identify the correct levels of resources and manage the operation within these agreed parameters
• Where required, having identified the causes and consequences, change and adjust the production plan in co-operation with the Department Manager, Planning Department to ensure that the most efficient daily production is achieved.
• To be representative of the companies high standards at all times and to conduct yourself in a professional and positive manner.

• To ensure correct batch codes, use by dates and appropriate stock routines are followed and are appropriately recorded on the audit sheets and entered into the FOPS System
• Ensure correct stock rotation
• To visually appraise the product and if non-conformances are noted, report these to senior Management / Technical immediately
• To conduct preflight checks, checking the machine is set up correctly, no visual damage to the machine
• To guide and train new starters
• Ensure the companies hygiene policies are adhered too and maintained at all times.
• Ensure correct storage of the product in the area
• To supervise line operatives on a day-to-day basis ensuring that performance, product quality, good housekeeping, discipline and safety standards are maintained
• To ensure correct recording of KPI,.
• Ensure all issues communicated to manager in timely manner

Shift is: 4on 4off from 5am to 5pm
