Sales and Purchase Ledger Administrator

White Rose Farms Ltd are a growing business who specialise in the production of Red Tractor assured pigs and are dedicated to ensuring the high standards of animal welfare and production are met. An opportunity has arisen for a Sales and Purchase Ledger Administratorto join our small, friendly team based near South Cave, Hull. The hours for this role are Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Processing of all invoices in a timely manner and ensuring they are sent out for approval so payment terms can be met.  Ensuring order and receipt are matched where applicable and the invoice is coded correctly.
  • Creation of new supplier accounts / amendment of supplier master data – completing all necessary due diligence checks before passing to management for sign off
  • Primary Finance point of contact for supplier accounts communications including;
  • Confirmation of payment dates
  • Resolution of Invoice queries or credit requests relating to particular invoices
  • Appropriate escalation of disputed invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Weekly sales and feed posting and reconciliation
  • Regular review of supplier statements and follow up of any discrepancies
  • Filing of purchase ledger invoices

Requirements, experience and person specification:

  • GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multi-task, work to deadlines, prioritise and complete tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • Possess a ‘right first time’, diligent and conscientious work ethic
