​Wayland Farms Ltd are a pig production company who are passionate about breeding and nurturing the best pigs in the country. We form part of the successful Cranswick Plc., one of the largest food producers in Britain.

Job responsibilities of Outdoor Pig Breeding Stockperson:

  • You will be actively involved with all areas of the pig breeding or rearing cycle
  • You will be based on our Outdoor Breeding Units in the Breckland area of Norfolk
  • On a day to day basis this includes feeding, moving, serving and handling the pigs
  • You will also maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit

What you will need:

  • You must prioritise animal welfare
  • To be self-motivated, flexible and a great team player.
  • Our farms consist of teams of 3-5 people, therefore you have got to be reliable and demonstrate good time keeping
  • Experience with livestock or agricultural background
  • Own transport to reach rural farm location

Pay and benefits:

  • Salary: competitive depending on experience
  • The shift pattern is Monday to Friday with alternate weekend work; total of 45 hours per week
