Nation­al Account Manager

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (40 hours) with flexibility

Salary: Competitive salary + car allowance

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a National Account Manager to join our Commercial team.

What you’ll be doing

As National Account Manager, you will play a fundamental role in the effective, progressive and profitable commercial management for a key retail account. You will:

  • Provide day to day management of the retail account business, maximising profitable sales growth in the categories of responsibility.
  • Monitor and update costings on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities for increased profit.
  • Deliver initiatives in line with key customer and Cranswick business strategy pillars through the teams.
  • Drive the promotional plan for increased sales.
  • Understand and interpret site financials versus budget and P&L.
  • Ensure forecasts are kept up to date.
  • Manage and administer open book costing model for respective areas.
  • Understand & drive supply chain strategy and further efficiencies for respective areas.

What we need from you

Essential

You’ll have a minimum of two years account executive experience. You will have chilled and retail experience and have a good understanding of the sales, marketing and NPD process. You will be a strong communicator and understand the importance of building relationships, in addition to having strong negotiation skills. We’re looking for someone who pays attention to detail, has strong organisational skills.

Desirable

It would be beneficial if you have had experience managing a key retail account.
