National Account manager
Cranswick Poultry Added Value is a specialty producer of delicious, cooked poultry ingredients and is a leading innovator in the industry. We create exciting, original products that meet the needs of today’s busy consumers.
The main purpose of the role is to provide the effective, profitable and progressive commercial management for a key retail account within the Added Value Poultry division.
The key elements of the role are:
- Day to day responsibility for the profitable growth of the Marks and Spencer and Ocado accounts, supporting the onboarding and as well as the development of new business for this account within Cranswick Country Foods
- This will involve working closely with all departments especially NPD and Marketing, whilst engaging multi-site teams
- To provide day to day management of the retail account business, and maximise profitable sales growth in the categories of responsibility; added value poultry
- Monitor and update the costings on an ongoing basis and identify opportunities for increased profit
- Drive the promotional plan for increased sales
- Understand & interpret site financials versus budget and scrutinize P&L
- Ensure forecast / demand planners are adequately maintained
- Manage and administer costing model for respective areas
- Understand & drive supply chain strategy for respective areas
- Maintain regular contact with Buyers, NPD, Category, Technical and Supply teams to develop the relationship with customers
- Drive NPD and EPD to increase profit and sales to both Cranswick and the customer
- Optimise the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction wherever possible
- To ensure customer KPI’s are maintained to their satisfaction given normal circumstances
