Low Risk Team Leader

The main purpose of the role is to assure the production plan and deadlines are met by supervising the production processes and effectively organising responsibilities and co-ordinate the transfer and correct use of all materials, ensuring full traceability is maintained at all times.

The key elements of the role are:

• To ensure correct batch codes, use by dates and appropriate stock routines are followed and are appropriately recorded on the audit sheets and entered into the FOPS System
• Ensure correct stock rotation
• To visually appraise the product and if non-conformances are noted, report these to senior Management / Technical immediately
• To conduct preflight checks, checking the machine is set up correctly, no visual damage to the machine
• To guide and train new starters
• Ensure the companies hygiene policies are adhered too and maintained at all times.
• Ensure correct storage of the product in the area
• To supervise line operatives on a day-to-day basis ensuring that performance, product quality, good housekeeping, discipline and safety standards are maintained
• To ensure correct recording of KPI,.
• Ensure all issues communicated to area team leaders/ managers in timely manner
