Export Administrator

Cranswick Country Foods, Hull (Preston)

​The purpose of the role is to provide administration support to the Export team, ensuring that standards are maintained in line with internal and external requirements.

Main duties include (but not limited to):

  • Provide administrative support for the Export function
  • To complete all order processing accurately and in accordance with the required timescales
  • Organisation of product releases and material transfers
  • Tracking sales volumes, forecasts and prices on key accounts
  • To investigate discrepancies and produce relevant reports when requested
  • To maintain and update all relevant records and files to ensure the smooth running of the trading function
  • Conduct yourself in a responsible and courteous manner at all times
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding work that is carried out
  • To assist in any other areas required by the trading function
  • Undertake such ad-hoc duties as maybe required to benefit the business
  • To always act in the best interest of Cranswick Country Foods

  • Deliver on key performance indicators
  • Respect and honour the sentiment of the Cranswick ethical policies and codes of conduct when interacting with colleagues
  • Ensure that you understand and adhere to your personal responsibilities with regard the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Environmental Protection Act 1990, Site Environmental Permit, company HSE policies, site safety rules, and procedures at all times
  • To identify hazards in the workplace and take corrective action or initiate controls to minimise the risk
  • To effectively promote Health, Safety and Environmental awareness within your areas of control
  • Carry out activities with full awareness of their impact on the environment, both in terms of people and the local area
  • Effectively manage energy and waste within the department

Requirements, experience and person specification

  • Previous logistical administrator experience required
  • Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • GCSE in Maths and English (grade C or above)
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills


Working hours: 7:30 - 16:00, Monday - Friday
