Com­mu­ni­ca­tions Executive

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, confident, dynamic and highly motivated communications professional to join our busy corporate marketing team at our Head Office in Hull.

Working for one of the UK’s largest food producers, we would like to recruit someone with a keen interest in food and sustainability.

As Communications Executive you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Developing and managing the content for all internal and external communication channels in line with business strategy, including our Second Nature sustainability agenda
  • Strengthening the brand vision through creative and innovative communications
  • Working effectively with a variety of external partners and agencies, as well as internal teams
  • Monthly performance reporting, capturing feedback and providing ongoing monitoring and evaluation of all activity

Requirements, experience and person specification

  • Relevant experience working in a communications role, preferably within the FMCG sector, either in-house or agency
  • High quality written and verbal communication
  • Operate effectively in a demanding environment, proactively engaging with key teams and stakeholders, nurturing key relationships and maintaining networks internally and externally
  • Strong interest in social media and professional experience using social channels to enhance reputation
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
