5 x Process Control Officers

Location
Cranswick Convenience Foods, Hull (Sutton Fields)

Summary

To be responsible for the carrying out, recording and collation of all Process Controls and completion of documentation to ensure legal, food-safety and specification compliance across one or more lines as directed

 

Main duties include (but not limited to):

· To ensure the following are carried out accurately and in a timely manner

- Label verification checks

- Metal detection/X-Ray checks

- X-Ray Sievert Checks

- Gas checks

- Leaker checks

- Weight control checks

- Toolbox Checks

 

· Ensure any non-conformance or deviation is immediately flagged to your supervisor/manager, including advising/instructing to stop production to minimize downtime and rework

· Confidence to support customer audits and queries as required

· Willingness to be involved with strategic events and promotional activities as required

· Confidence in delivering results and data to senior management and visitors as required

 

Requirements, experience and person specification:

· All core training and core procedures

· Level 2 Food Safety

· All relevant site/area policies, procedures and practices (Including customer specific codes of practice)

· Knowledge of lean management and root cause analysis tools desirable.
